Prior to 1.5.36 I could use the right click on the mouse to stop video (sometimes it would go too many clicks) but now right click opens a popup menu. On the menu I can stop by using the Menu but it drops me way out. I liked the old way, but I figure that you might add some navigation on this menu, could you add a stop in the meantime?

There shouldnt have been any changes to this in 1.5.36. I think it's been the same in every NPVR release. Right click has always shown the context menu.

If you want it to behave the old GBPVR way, and would prefer not to see the context menu, you can disable the 'context menu on right mouse button' option in the Settings screen.

Ok, it's probably just my environment and for testing disabling setup is not consideration. I use the multimedia keys on this keyboard to stop, but I have been testing the client (working great BTW) and its not at all convenient to have two keyboards.

Thanks,

This adds pause/play/stop context menu items while video is playing.

Thanks, I wasn't expecting that. It works great and is a perfect companion to the new time line mouse seeking.

I tried the NextPVR.exe file attached above to get pause/play capability on the PC... great! And... it worked for Live TV, double great!!

I'm just starting with both Windows7 and NextPVR - so haven't found the trick to change NextPVR from full screen back to windowed mode Sad

Realizing that it's probably me missing something simple, I'd still be so bold as to suggest that it might be useful to add that function to this same context sensitive menu.

EDIT - can't seem to get the 'time line mouse seeking' to work - could you elaborate on that please Martin?

Click on the timeline to navigate to the spot just like in GB-PVR. I think this only works with the Default skin at the moment, I didn't see any skin update announcements with 1.5.36

I'm not sure if I'm missing something but in GBPVR when I waved the mouse over a playing recording screen it used to opo up an OSD with a play and pause and Fwd Rev symbols that I could click with the mouse. Is this gone completely and replaced by this right click context menu?

There is no OSD playback controls at this stage. The may return in a future release.
