I'm trying to find a working copy of mc2xml and all the links are dead. Can someone please send me a copy or post a working link?

Thanks.

They seem to keep changing these. The one I had bookmarked appears to no longer be working as well.
Here's the latest copy I have saved.

So I got the xmltv.xml returned by MC2XML, loaded it in gbpvr... I see the channels in the configuration when creating a capture source, but I don't see any channels or listings in the TV Guide. What am I doing wrong? Here is my xmltv.xml file:

That file looks normal. Did you make sure the channels are enabled in the capture sources, and on the channel tab? Also, did you "Update EPG" in the "System" part of PVRX2?

Maybe if that dont work try an "empty EPG"/"Update EPG" in capture devices, and then check the other things one more time????

Dear all,

hope I'm not hijacking a thread but Big Grin

Snooze Wrote:I think MC2XML is on the run!!! LOL

I just so happened to be creating the EPG page for the NextPVR wiki

http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ration.EPG

when I spotted this thread. I don't use MC2XML so know nothing about it or how it works. BUT is there any reason I can't upload it directly to the wiki to save chasing it about the web and give it a permanent home? Or is there some legal reason or other that this is a bad idea?

cheers

email mc2xml@gmail.com and ask permission... (also used for paypal donations)

EDIT: I see they have a copyright insignia thingy on a dialog box in the setup program... you better email and ask. I did find "instructions" here http://www.hack7mc.com/2009/08/using-mc2...-apps.html Wink

If its on the run, there is probably a reason for it.

this link still works but only has more detailed instructions http://mc2xml.my3gb.com/

I managed to successfully load the xmltv in gbpvr. The problem was in the Recording Source, I was selecting the Fake-ATSK just for testing (I don't have a tv board in this machine). As soon as I selected the Analog Recording Plugin with my actual PVR1600, the listing showed up in the TV Guide.
