mc2xml problem

After working for about a year the program guide on my GBPVR setup has stopped updating.

I am using mc2xml. Every thing I have checked seems to be in order. When I manually update the program guide on the system page, GPPVR reports it is updating but the program guide is not updated.

Any suggestions on what to try? I usually have at least a week of schedule but now the schedule ends day after tomorrow and my wife is going away and needs to record stuff.

I am using 1.3.11 and everything else is working fine.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Download the latest version of mc2xml from http://mc2xml.110mb.com/ My wife noticed that our EPG was shrinking. Manually running mc2xml.exe in a command window would just kick back to the command prompt. There doesn't seem to be a release date listed on the website, but the new version fixed things right up.

NOTE: I'm not sure that manually clicking Update EPG in config kicks off the UpdateEPG.bat file. On my system it just seems to read the existing xmltv.xml file and populate GBPVR's database with the EPG data that it finds there. You can either run mc2xml manually first or wait until after your auto-EPG update runs. Then the EPG data should be there once again.

running epg update from system screen you'll get the whole update procedure...

so try to run it manually from command prompt..
at least then you'll see any errors and explanations..
you may have to 'force' an update... [-f]
sometimes i have to, to get it to realize there are new listings available..

Using the updated mc2xml.exe did it!
