If you have the WinTV 45 button remote and a remote made by Philips, it's likely you have conflicts. Â For instace, Mute on the TV remote is actually the system mute, and pressing either mute again does not turn it off (meaning you need to do manually on system).
Solution: Put a ";" in front of any buttons in the "old" remote maps (first set near top) in irremote.ini. Â It's the old remote maps that also read the Philips signals. Â Keep any you can be clever with or find a dual use for.
Example: The power button the Philips remote also is the Radio button on WinTV. Â By mapping the radio button to esc-home, you can leave live tv to the menu by turning the TV off.
