Load avi or other files with external player?

Hi all,

First, great piece of software Sub!

Quick question. Is there a way to spawn an external player when playing files from the video library (or recorded files)?

I would like to use VLC (then I don't have to install any codecs) as an external player for any files I load up in the video library (avi or not).

Is there a way to just have avi files load with an external player?

No, not at this stage. Maybe in a later release.

i was thinking about adding this to "my videos" primarly for zoomplayer, but should work with any external player, that is if you want to take the plugin route.
