Two of the stations in my TV guide are showing the wrong times for when shows start/stop. These stations are TBS and Comedy Central. All other listings are correct.

The times are off by 3 hours. Looks like it's showing EST instead of PST listings for these 2 stations.

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks,

If its only a couple of your stations, then there must be something wrong with the information zap2it is supplying. I'm sure they'll identify it an correct the problem soon.

Actually, I thought this was their issue so I reported it to them about 4 weeks ago. No reply, no fix.

Is there any way I can fix it at my end? Can I edit the ChannelID or something?

I've had better luck setting a scheduled task and running the xml plugin manually(it also reports errors to screen, so that may help you out) check out
http://membled.com/work/apps/xmltv/

Just download the windows exe from sourceforge
xmltv-0.5.38-win32b.zip

extract it to a directory, run from a command prompt
C:\xmltv\xmltv.exe tv_grab_na_dd --configure
then run
C:\xmltv\xmltv.exe tv_grab_na_dd --days 7 --output xml.xml

(setup a task to run the above)

See if it gives you any errors....If you want to setup GBPVR to use the listings just change the EPG setup to use xml and point it to the file you created (then update the EPG).

Good Luck!

Thanks for the info on XMLTV. This downloaded the same information as configuring the TV Guide to use Zap2it directly, so the problem is definately with Zap2it's data.

However, using XMLTV, now I can modify the data before it is imported into GBPVR. So I wrote a little script to look for lines in the XML file with the channel IDs for the 2 stations I was having problems with. I then just move the "time" on those entries from -0800 to -1100. Then, when the file is imported into GBPVR, everything is when it's suppose to be.

Just setup a little scheduled task to run XMLTV and my fix time script and everything works great.

Thanks again for all your help.

Cruzer,
Mind posting your little script? I'd like to see how you are doing it.

Here's the script I wrote. Please do not make fun of me since this is the first VB Script I have written (a quick self-tutorial from web pages). It was quick and dirty. It takes the file tv.xml (created with XMLTV), finds the program entries for TBS and Comedy Central and changes the time offset from -0800 to -1100. It then writes the results into the file tv-fixed.xml.
