Had 24 channels recording last night for a laugh but couldn't get everything with 5 tuners, but now I can with a 6th All recordings were fine
The trick, here in the UK, with credit to someone else here who suggested it (but apologies can't remember who), is that Freeview operates on six mux's. So if you have 6 tuners and set them up so that each only can tune to one mux then you can record anything/everything without fear of overrruns/padding/conflicts/etc.
So, even though 'on-time' recording isn't currently available (see other thread!), having brought the tuners up to 6 has really worked well.
For info it is currently a pair of WinTV Nova T-500s PCI and a KWorld USB499-T2 - this will change to a BlackGold 3620 twin HD when digital switch-over for East Anglia is complete next week (sub, when will the update be on selecting the Sudbury transmitter frequencies so I don't have to do an 'all regions/full-sweep' scan?
Thanks for a great program!
