Greetings,

I have not been able to get my Hauppauge 150MCE to work with this program and before I continue trying I would like to know what the recording resolutions are. Is 352x240 one of them and if not can it be added or created?

Also, at one point during the configuration process I'm asked which of my tuners I would like to use. I have three of them - two 150's and a Leadtek - but the pulldown menu offers numbers 1-6 and doesn't distinguish them. One of the 150's is set to work with WinTV2000 which is the software from Hauppauge that comes with the card so I don't want that one configured. Instead, I want it to work with the other one.

When I installed both Snapstream and SageTV I was given a listing of my TV tuners and asked which one I wanted configured. The 150's were distinguished as Hauppauge 150 and Hauppague 150 II. It's the second one that I would lke to configure with this program but I dont know know which of the first three selections it is on the pulldown menu when configuring with this program. Is there any way to find out?

Thanks.

No 352x240 is not an available resolution. This is a restraint of the Hauppauge drivers, and cant be changed by third party software.

The device numbers are only relevent if you have multi tuners in your machine which share the same driver names. The PVR150's will have device numbers #1 and #2. The Leaktek will be #1. You'll have to guess which one is which. Try both.

If SageTV reports it as 'Hauppague 150 II', then you'll probably need to setup you PVR150 capture source as device #2 in GB-PVR.

Someone introduced me to WinTVCap (a command line program) and much to my delight it records at 352x240 with my Hauppauge 150MCE cards. I almost gave up after I had read your posting but I kept surfing various boards and finally someone came up with a solution. Granted, it doesn't have the features of a full PVR program such as this one but it does EXACTLY what I want it to do.
