I just installed gbpvr a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. The one problem I'm having right now is when I'm in time shift mode and I try to rewind it or fast forward after a pause, I lose all audio. I have to hit stop and go to live tv again to regain sound. I can pause/un-pause as much as I want to with no problem.
My setup is not state of the art: I'm running an Athlon 2400+, 512, 80/20gb hds, with a 150MCE. I am still using the motherboard sound, so I suspect that might be part of the problem. Any other obvious things I'm missing?
Thanks

I had that problem when I tried MCE briefly. Try another mpeg decoder maybe? Try intervideo (the one that came w/ the card) if you're not using it.

Hi,

I have the same problem, so I stopped using ff and rew. Try using the skip buttons instead, they will skip longer but you keep the sound.

The issue is corrected in the next release.

I set the "Use short skip instead of FF/RW" in the misc tab in the GBPR config app.  Worked for me on the same issue.

sub,

Just so you know this still occurs with me even with the most recent release however if I I enable the option "Use short skip instead of FF/RW" in Config it does not occur.

I'm aware of an issue where some video decoders wont play in reverse so when you press rewind it mutes the sound but the video keeps playing forwards at the normal speed. This is not something I can really work around.
