150 vs. 250 remote "eye"

One more quick question - I've got a Hauppage 250 card, and I've noticed, like others, that the remote "eye" is not particularly sensitive or angle-friendly. It's ok, just not fantastic. Here's my question - is the PVR-150 much better? I've been thinking about getting a USB type remote device, but if the 150's remote "eye" is good, then I can just wait and get the 150 as a second video card and solve 2 issues at once.

I have a 150 with the remote and IR blaster. I've not had any problems with the sensitivity. It actually had slipped back behind the PC and was still working. I diddn't notice until I was moving hte PC around and was looking for it to unhook. Must have been bouncing off of something somehow. Also do fresh batteries in the remote seem to make any difference.
