2.4.3 freezes during skip

I was hoping this new version would solve this problem but it still exist, when I watch recordings and they come to a point where there will be a skip with comskip the video will freeze and I have to stop then go back to ready recordings and resume to continue watching or it will stay froze indefinitely. I watched the F1 race I recorded earlier today and I had 2 of these freezes while watching. I'll attach logs to see if you can spot anything.

NPVRTSReader2 was supposed to correct this issue, but it definitely hasn't done so here either. I *think* it happens less often now, but it's really hard to tell, since it didn't happen every time before either.

Thats a bummer. From feedback when NPVRTSReader2 was introduced, it sounded like this problem had gone away.

My understanding was that those with this 'slow to resume after skipping' problem have had the problem pretty much forever, so if you haven't got the problem 2.2.6, you probably wouldn't have the problem with the current release.

i had real issues with 2.3.6 ,failed recordings,comskip didnt line up = angry wife need to let dust settle
So might wait a bit longer. The problem is that it works so well when I update or change something and I break it.Its like world war 3 has broken out.
2.2.6 is pretty solid good comskip etc few niggles but they are minor

Yes, the video freeze after skipping has been happening for a good long while, certainly since well before 2.2.6. Honestly it's probably been since day 1.

Sub, I do think it happens far less often now. I certainly feel more surprised when it happens; it seems I watch many shows without having it happen at all, whereas in the past it would happen one or more times per show.

are these only related to skipping while paused, or does it do it when skipping while playing too? or is this just with comskip skips?

If it seems to just be comskip skips, I have something you could try.

yes, I think the skipping while paused issue is fixed (though that's not something I ever did much). The only time I notice this issue is after a comskip jump.

(in the interests of full disclosure, I've not yet installed 2.4.3, probably will in a few minutes when the evening's recordings are done)
