First things first, I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all the people who contribute to GB-PVR. Outstanding work. I've only been using it since last weekend and I'm already a true believer! However, I seem to be having some problems with the MyMusic and MyVideos plugins when used with my MediaMVP, specifically:

1. MyMusic will only play the first song in a .m3u playlist when I select the playlist. It reads in and displays the playlist fine.

2. Pressing the "Unnamed" remote key plays only the first song in the folder (should play every file in the folder).

3. Stopping video playback (with the Stop key) before it completes causes the MVP to hang. I have to power down the MVP and stop/start the PC Server App to recover.

Thanks for your help!

Sorry Tipstir I didnt quite get that.

I think MyMusic is the best of the bunch as I especially like the folder options. Now the screensaver works I am fairly happy. I know Reven is waithing on Sub to make a change but I am not sure what.

I do have some queries/bugs/inconsistencies outstanding but reading the threads Reven has been very busy with MyVideos.

Cheers

Pauly Hi

Are you switching back to main menu after starting the tracks? It should be OK if you dont, if not are you sure you have the latest version? This has "Dont display current song info" in the MYMusic Config Display settings, which allows the screen saver to kick in also.

this is a mvp bug, nothing to do with my music, same results in every plugin (except music library, i have no idea why). this only happens if you exit my music (well so i am told, i dont have a mvp).

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]2. Pressing the "Unnamed" remote key plays only the first song in the folder (should play every file in the folder).
this should work, havent tested it in awhile, there might be a bug, can someone else confirm this? (i have the new remote, and put my old one away, so no "func" button to test).

the only thing that happens in my videos after a video is stopped, is the screen is redrawn. gbpvr can take awhile to redraw the screen, for reason unknown to me, so not a specific my videos issue, just a slow computer issue (or need defrag, system is busy, memory low... etc). this will teach you for buying a MVP Tongue

I have the latest version (can see "Don't display current song info" in Config; tried with it on and off) and I'm staying in MyMusic for my testing.

Pressing the Unnamed key on a folder is definitely only playing the first song, same deal if I press the Red key instead or select a playlist.

darrin, can you explain a little more about your setup please, maybe including some of the config info, so I can see what I may have configured wrong?

Thanks!

Hi Pauly

A This basically is to allow the ScreenSaver to kick in.

B Just double checked this & it works fine. There is a small problem if you switch playlists or randomise, in that, during that session it will subsequently always start from the 2nd track.

Thanks for checking Alan. So it worked for you in any of the three conditions I mentioned in "B"?

I'm at a loss... after completing playback of the first song I see the default Hauppage "STOP" icon appear in the corner, denoting the song finished, and then I see the icon appear a second time, as though it is stopping the entire playback process for some reason... is there some log file I can check somewhere to determine what's happening?

Thanks!

Pauly, yes works for me in all 3 of B situations.

There are some inconsistencies, one is this double flashing in STOP mode. The Play button does not seem to work in all situations but the SELECT will PLAY & STOP (sometimes).

I also get quite a lot of resetting- it goes off and searches for servers again. Unfortunately the developer Reven does not have an MVP so it can be difficult to advise, It is worth trying the s/w stand alone on your PC to see the differences.

Cheers
