Hiya folks

A couple of issues have arisen with my use of xrecord:

1. I can only see files that I place in c:\videos, other folder names don't show up. Also, the c:\videos folder will only be visible under the VIDEOS menu item. How do I get into the other XVideo paths..? I actually entered the path c:\videos in the config App rather than in the xml file.

2. I read a post from jorm stating the top level icons/pictures could be bypassed so that you are presented with a list view by changing some code in the skin.xml from:

<Advanced active="true" rows="2" columns="4" box="true"/>

to:

<Advanced active="false" rows="2" columns="4" box="true"/>

This doesn't seem to be making any difference for me.

Thanks!

in the latest xrecord the advanced stuff is found in the config app thus config.xml

in the next version you can toggle views between icon and list by pressing pause.

It is not finding your other paths? Take a look at config.xml and see if you see the paths there under xrecord.

Everything is working as expected now... (wha?). I'll pray to the gremlin gods tonight!

Thanks!
