Hi all.. I've got a server that is running Win7 and I've been using this server with SageTV for the past 7 months to communicate with three HdHomerun dual-tuner boxes..

Today I'd like to setup NPVR to use one of those dual-tuner HDHomeRun boxes -- I've disabled Sage for that box and installed NPVR w/o issue. I added the device and added a firewall hole for both NPVR and NRecord without issue. NPVR is able to channel scan the tuners without issue and I've got a SchedulesDirect account for EPG.. However, when I go to live tv I get nothing.. Sad

I tried telling NPVR to update all EPG data and it was going REALLY slowly -- taking 50 seconds per channel to update..

At this point I'm lost on how to proceed with getting these dual tuners on-line and active.. I checked the live TV temp data and the size = 0 if that matters.

Any ideas on what the next steps are? Thx!

I will zip up the logs and post them shortly.

You'll probably need to add firewall rules for NDigitalHost.exe.

Did you actually set your channels to use the Schedules Direct EPG? It sounds like you've got them using the DVB/ATSC EPG.

Thanks for the reply.. I will add the firewall exception -- I didn't know I needed that one.. I am trying to get setup for schedules direct and will look into doing that -- you are correct that it was defaulting to the DVB/ATSC EPG..

Ok.. Added the exception as mentioned above..

Initially though I saw no obvious difference -- until I shut it down and restarted it.. Now I get video -- I just need to get it plugged into XBMC after I sort out a few issues.. Currently I've got no guide data..

In the Channels settings do I need to manually remap all of the channels listed to show Schedules Direct or leave them as-is? See below:

When I go into the TV Guide I see the following with no-data :

I'm also attaching the logs for your reference should they be of interest.. Thanks!! This software is really slick!

Unfortunately the app cant do the mapping for you, since there is usually not enough information available in the broadcast for the application to do it automatically (ie, no data that can be matched up from the broadcast vs schedules direct so we know it's the same channel). The easiest way to do it is by hitting the 'Bulk Map' button. Sometimes when you manually map the first channel in that screen, it offers to try mapping the rest, but it can only do this when enough info is available.
