Large log file gbpvr.exe.log

Noticed a strange thing today; whilst watching live TV sound was way infront of video and when I came out of live TV could not get back in. Had a lookat what was happening and gbpvr.exe was 100% and the log file was 3.03 GB!!!!! Obviously I could not edit it with notepad or wordpad. If this is a known problem I will not try to get the file off the box. If its not then I will get the file off and try and open it with vi. Any body seen this? Bug?

The logs can be big, but yeah, 3GB is a bit excessive. You might want to try to open it to see what it contains. There may be some repeating error message.

If you've had GBPVR.exe running for a long time or using an MVP (which generates large logs), and the log just contains normal logging, you could change the logging level in the config app.

OK, Cheers Sub. When I have a mo I will get the file over and open with vi.

I had a huge runup when I had the menu screen that scrolled through scheduled recordings. It was better once I dropped it.

sub: is it possible to comment those items of the log? Not logging every minute change? I can see where just the clock can add up if you don't restart occasionally.
