Hello, I am new to the forum and would like some assistance regarding an issue with live tv playback through XBMX 12.1 Frodo (Margro Build)

I tested this tonight and discovered that around 13 and a half minutes into playback of live tv, the screen freezes and will not recover on its own. I can back out to the main menu and begin to watch live tv again, but after 13 and a half minutes the same issue occurs.

I'm running the latest version of NextPVR as a backend with XBMC 12.1 (Margro Build) as the frontend. I do have a Raspberry Pi running 12.2 but I'm focusing my attention on my HTPC which I use more often.

I have two Hauppage USB ATSC Tuners for OTA Broadcasting, plus one HD Homerun Dual OTA Network Tuner. HDHomerun has latest firmware. No cable subscription, just Antenna.

I tried steps such as adjusting timeshifting to on and off
Moved Live TV Buffer to different Drives within my system. (Currently on a 2TB External Drive connected via USB. This is where I store my recorded TV shows)
Checked drive integrity for any issues, all drives are error free
Uninstalled and reinstalled both NextPVR and XBMC

Log files are attached

Thank you

Have you tried running just nextpvr as a test, does its live tv cut out after the 13.5 mins?

Npvr works fine as it will play beyond the limit I pointed out in my original thread, but through XBMC there's no change. This affects my Raspberry Pi as well.

I think this is a logical point for a problem if there is a problem in continuity of the NextPVR slip file streaming. I think this is how the problem looks in the logs when it stops at that point too.

I managed to fix this issue within my setup by moving the temp record folder to another drive while leaving the "recorded tv" folder on another. This affected all machines connected to the NextPvr Backend as well.

The stream lasts beyond 13.5 minutes now. The only real difference I can see is the fact that the drive now housing the temp rec folder is connected via Esata, while the recorded tv folder is connected via usb. I'm still using Windows Media Center to record shows for the time being until I get all my folders and shows managed in folders for scraping.

I can confirm that having the buffer on a different drive than the recording folder drive had fixed it for me. Thanks.

I am having the exact problem and have tried moving the Live TV Buffer to different drive from the recorded tv folder but the problem continues. Live tv works perfectly within NPVR but fails in XBMC. I checked the actual temporary live tv buffer and it seems each file stops at about 450mb and a new file is created. The NPVR player transitions smoothly to the next file but the XBMC client freezes.
Please help I am desperate to switch to XBMC and drop MCE.
