I just installed the Samsung app version 0.2.64.239 and am running nextpvr 3.1.1. When I connected the first time it asked for me to registrar the device. Once completed it took me to the home screen.

When I try to either play a recording or watch live tv I just get a black screen.

The guide works fine as well as listing all recordings. Please let me know if you need additional information.

Any suggestion would be very helpful.

I probably broke something with the android changes. Ill fix it in a couple of hours and post a new version. Sorry about that

just checked and its working fine for me. if you login to the portal search your device logs for a message like
Code:
Playing: http://nextpvrserver:8866/live?recording=3618
then open VLC and try and play that. try it on a different computer than the actual nextpvr install.

I was able to play both links through VLC with no issues on my laptop.

Should I uninstall the app on the Samsung and reinstall? or do you think there is another issue?

I wanted to update you that I uninstalled the App from the TV. Shut TV down reinstalled App. Still have same problem.

Now when I select a recording or Live TV the first time I select watch the screen flashes then returns to the menu. If I select watch again it goes to a blank screen and stays there.

Let me know if you need any additional information.

have you reencoded your recordings into a different format? if not, any chance you could make a manual recording of about 10 minutes and upload it somewhere like dropbox, mega.co.nz etc, so i can get a sample to try out?

I have not reencoded any of the files. I just sent you a PM with login information to my ftp that I have placed a 10 minute recording. Please let me know if you did not receive the PM or need additional information.

no worries, thanks for the offer to donate, but ill be charging for the app eventually, so no need to donate Smile
