I've written SD about this but am wondering if anyone else is having problems with their Guide from SD. I have several channels with no info after 7:00 pm Monday, 8/3. All other channels have the information they should have. I'm using the latest version of NPVR on a Win7 i7 computer. I'm guessing this is an SD problem but thought I would check to make sure no one else was experiencing it.

Are you using the JSON service or the XML service?

I believe I'm using the JSON service. At least I believe I changed to that some time ago and saw it in the NPVR config.xml file.

OK, I've dug into this some more. It appears that not all channels are actually blank, but you may be running into a different issue. I will send you an email.

If you're using the current release, and your channels have the EPG Source is set to 'Schedules Direct', then yes it's using the JSON service. If you EPG Source is set to XMLTV, then it depends what your xmltv software is using.

Of course there are numbers where the xxxxxxxx are.

Everybody get that now, plus I think it is hard coded, NRecord.log during the epg update would show us.

I was looking on the Cox site for some info and one of their 'techs' indicated he could chat. I told him the problem and he said in my situation all he could do was 'flash' the tuner and the Motorola unit, which he did. The good news is that seemed to work and all my guide info is back once I told NPVR to redownload it. This may continue to happen as they're changeing all channels to digital and dropping analog but I don't think the final changes happen until the first of the year. Perhaps all I have to do if this happens again is contact Cox.

your problem would have been unrelated to anything at cox, but glad to hear your problem is solved.
