Anyone unable to use Newa web interface with win 10 64 bit?

I'm struggling to get the newa interface working, I'm running windows 10 64 bit, I did have this working previously but after upgrading to the latest version it keeps coming back on chrome saying connection refused.

Ive tried changing the port, completely scraping npvr off starting again. Now here's the interesting thing the alpha 1 of the admin panel installs fine and runs but falls over on setting up the admin panel, so that attempt failed.

I do use norton internet security but the ports for npvr have been allowed in settings and switching norton off makes no difference. Is this a common problem or would the alpha 2 of the abandoned admin panel work, or am I just getting nowhere?

I'm using Win10 64bit, and NEWA is working fine here.

Can you zip and attach your c:\users\public\npvr\logs\nrecord.log and web.log?

hi,

logs attached strange thing is schipol pvr web interface loaded fine, so its not the firewall or internet security product.

Its having an issue starting the web server.

Can you stop the NPVR Recording Service and try running "nrecord.exe RUN" from a command prompt to see if it starts or gives you an error message.

I'm getting the nrecord.exe is not recognised as an internall or external command and that's using the command prompt as suggested.

Also after stopping that service, I can't get it to launch through command prompt and going through services.msc tells me that it can't start the service.

You'd need to have changed to the right directory, and you'd need to have upper-case run:

cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR"
nrecord.exe RUN

Sorry my mistake, service is running after system restart but not the newa interface, is there a probable easy fix for this or not?

Post the nrecord.log / web.log files from when you started it in the command prompt in the way I described above.

Hi, I do apologise for the delay, I have attached nrecord.log but I can't find any web.log file I'm afraid.

You might need to use stronger glue ... the attachment appears to have become unattached
