NPVR doesn't turn Hauppauge HD PVR on

Had Windows 10 installed but rolled back to 7.
Needed to reinstall HD PVR drivers and software.
Installed latest version of NPVR.
Everything working ok with Total Media.
NPVR changes channels ok on my STB, but doesn't turn HD PVR on (blue light on top of box not lit).

I looks to be working, the blue light doesn't need to be on to record. Are you sure it isn't recording?

Thank you Martin. Double checked my wiring. Optical audio from STB was plugged in optical out jack on HD PVR.
