This has probably been hashed many times, but I looked through quite a few posts, and didn't see the following, so I'll ask.

http://www.titantv.com/Services/PartnerT...op=GetUUID

Has anyone discovered any PartnerID's or way of getting the uuid for TitanTV? I hear there's no way of getting it anymore, but didn't know if anyone had any other ideas.

I've read about people using a packet sniffer like wireshark to intercept the packets sent by an application that is authorized to use titantv.

seems simpler just to get a schedules direct account.

I was able to capture my UUID using wireshark...

USN: uuid:xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx::upnp:rootdevice\r\n

I followed the instructions found on this page --- http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/thread...712/page-3

Unfortunately when I run the .bat, I get to the point where I put in my zipcode, but after that the response back from TitanTV is a error "Error: HL -t" Has anyone seen this error before?

E:\mc2xml>mc2xml.exe -t xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx -o "tvguide.xml"
Loading ..... : mc2xml © <mc2xml@gmail.com> (v1.4)
Reminder .... : Unauthorized redistribution prohibited.
Reminder .... : If this software is useful, please donate!
Win32 setup . : Use dialog for initial configuration.
Connecting .. : titantv.com
Error: HL -t

Do you really have dashes in your UUID? Note the UUID is supposed to be exactly 30 characters, with no dashes, so you could try it again meeting that criteria.

You can actually use Wireshark to sniff the exact response from TitanTV too -- just start your capture before running the mc2xml command.

Code:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Cache-Control: private, max-age=0
Content-Length: 319
Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8
Server: Microsoft-IIS/8.5
X-AspNet-Version: 2.0.50727
X-Powered-By: ASP.NET

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<ProviderCollection xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="http://www.titantv.com/services/dataservice">
  <ErrorCode>30030</ErrorCode>
  <ErrorDescription>Invalid uuid</ErrorDescription>
</ProviderCollection>

"Error: HL -t" must simply be the mc2xml representation of this TitanTV error. Or perhaps the UUID is valid (presumably it is, if it exists in Wireshark), but is simply rejected for this particular operation?

Not sure if it works anymore anyway, I have a 30 character UUID that I sniffed (and confirmed by entering my username and password at the "GetUUID" TitanTV link you provided) but I get the same error as you. I never used the service before, so I'm not sure what to conclude from all this -- perhaps I'm not associated with a valid Partner ID in their system?

I second the suggestion that Schedules Direct is much simpler!

From what I know, you can't sniff this UUID from the Hauppauge software, since they don't use the TitanTV listing service in their software.

I remember years ago that some people were sniffing it from the ATI Catalyst Media Center, which got it's listings from TitanTV. I don't know if that software still exists or uses TV listings.
