SendMsg values for GBPVR?

Hi, I am still tinkering and setting up GBPVR so that *anyone* at home can use it. Thanks to the post http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=21
I have the PVR responding to most of my hauppauge controls, regardless if it is in the foreground or not.

But I was wondering if the missing commands could also be made available ? It would mean I could use ir32.exe to control the PVR without making sure its in the foreground.

To compensate at the moment I've added findwindow, then foregroundwin before sending the key presses, but I like the sendmessage one better.

Hi onestar,

As far as I know the messagecodes are the same as delivered by the 'old' hauppauge remote. I don't have the 45 button one, so I can't tell you what codes the receiver generates. I'm not sure if sub has changed his message handler to deal with them anyway. It's up to him to confirm.

In the meantime, you could try the attached little console program. If you press some buttons, you should see the codes produced by the remote. Next step would be to try and send these to GBPVR to see what happens.

Note: you need to have irremote.dll here for it to work (default location):
C:\program files\wintv\irremote.dll

The program should exit when you press the 'green' button (code 253).
