"Unable to find a version of the runtime"

I'm trying to set up NMT on another computer and the NMTInstall seems to have completed successfully, but when I run NMTChecker it gives me this. What have I missed? What runtime?

.NET runtime which NextPVR used to require. Does it work if you copy the exe into the NextPVR program folder?

I trust you meant "C:\Program Files\NextPVR". No, it does not. So having NPVR installed does not mean I have .net runtime installed anymore? This is indeed a new machine with a new 3.5.7 installed, so maybe I gotta go get .net runtime. The old machine had been running since 3.3.8 or whatever was before 3.4.8, so it probably had it.

NextPVR runs with a subset of .NET and doesn't install it fully. The target is .NET 3.5 older than NextPVR. Is your "new" machine XP?

Yes, it is yet another XP installation. Doing 3.5 as we speak.
