Problem E-AC3 codec

Hello,

I installed NEXTPVR on my PC (tested with Windows 7 and 10).
I'm using a TNT avermedia 779 Tuner.

Everything is good with SD channels, but with HD channels, I don't have audio :
[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

My problem is that I can't activate any E-AC3 codec:
[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

I installed FFDSHOW and I checked that E-AC3 is really activated.
I tried with LAV filters too, but it still doesn't work.

Can anyone tell me how I can activate E-AC3 in NPVR ?

PS : is there a french translation of NPVR ? Or is it possible to do this ?

Have you clicked in the box where it says "Disabled" and there are no selections in the dropdown?

It's possible for users to create translation files, but doing this hasn't proved popular with the community. Its seems like everyone just sticks to English.

If you decide to create one, you can create a new file in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Languages. If you do this, post the file and I'll include it with future versions.

You can install the LAV decoders, and select this as your E-AC3 decoder.

I allready installed LAV decoders (v 0.66.0), but as the FFDshow codecs, I can't select them in NPVR. I only have "Disabled" in front of E-AC3, no other selection possible…
And I have selected the option in LAV configuration :

I don't know about ffdshow, but I have tested E-AC3 with LAV in the past. I can check it again for you, but it'll have to wait until I'm back in New Zealand in a week.

I just installed ffdshow on a new installation of 3.5.7 and it came right up in the E-AC3 pickbox. Did you install in the default directory? Perhaps if you posted the logs directory something would show up.

Also, did you install 32bit decoders? NextPVR is a 32bit app and will only see 32bit decoders. 64bit decoders wont show up.

It works fine with 32bit codecs.

Here you are the french translation if you want to include it when you will have time for you. I did my best, but sometimes, I didn't know what functions I translated exactly.
I modified the Finnish.xml file to do this, but I didn't find all texts as you can see on this picture:

Maybe is it in another file?

Any other files that are in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Languages are probably not complete. You'll probably just need to add other strings for things you want to translate, like "Now Playing".
