I too have the pvr 250 mce card with composite input from cable box. My setup was working but now it is not. I get sound then I return to the main menu by pressing esc. then when I return to liove tv there is no sound. I restart my computer and then there is sound.
I posted the log file above because that was the only way I could post it. It was labeled config.xml
