hello guys .. I just read an artilce about the worlds first full aluminum cylindrical case. finally a case that can look good next to your tv thats not a box , this is one of the best HTPC cases that i have seen on the market and the finish is just amazing. It fully supports small form factory mini ITX components and when it is time to upgrade its not issue. It would be also a good gaminig console case.

Lools like a rip off of the Apple Mac Pro.

It looks ok, but I wouldn't want it. It looks pretty damn huge.

hello thanks.
no i im disagree it made in 21cm as width and 26cm as height.
and you can use the Mini-itx mainbaord .
its fatter than apple because mac pro use the customized mainboards . and its just a case not a system. its just solution for who wants to make htpc system like the apple mac pro.
for who want to escape from the cube shape . so its first . you can trust him like 400 user who ordered in the kickstarter page Smile
see you

Don't get me wrong, I know some people would be happy to have it. Looking at the video on that kickstarter though, it looked pretty big to me. Personally I'd prefer to flat style case that takes up a lot less space, and hide it away somewhere that's not really visible.

For me the case isn't an issue. My Chromebox and FTV are small enough but the wires behind them and in my HTPC console, behind my backend and behind the desktop, that is the problem means you end up hiding the player anyway. A round big mini-itx case isn't going to avoid the problem. Also it doesn't address the current lack of HDMI 2.0 in that form factor if you want 4k 60fps.

flat case is oldie. for 0 years people know computer as tower or atx case.
but people changing their mind about computer for today and they want the cylandric case .
its why apple choose the dunecase Smile
so as a friend i suggest you to buy one of them.
cheers Smile

atx or tower case....maybe back in 2005.

A small flat case is ideal for people that want to hide them. With a huge cylinder case like that, putting it in a drawer isn't an option. A nice small black aluminium itx case is the way to go, or even better one of the smaller 4.5inch squared NUC boards with stylish case.

Until power and HDMI are wireless you can't. Although I am happy with a BT keyboard for Kodi, many PVR users here want an IR remote and that will look butt ugly with a flirc or something like that sticking out of it. Picture is misleading too it's going to look much deeper for mni-itx. and PSU problably more like a paint can.

I like the look of my two little square boxes I posted.

hello , its just for user want cylindric case Smile
you can add Intel Xeon series , you can use high quality GPU , and unc has expired time Smile
but you can upgrade all of you want with mini itx boards Smile
so its better than buy the mini pc Smile
