NEXT PVR crashes

After about 3 minutes watching live TV or replay of a recording next PVR crashes. Never had any issues with anything on our system before regarding Next PVR.

Windows 10 Pro 64

Issues started a few days ago while still on version 3.6.6

Have run the update to version 3.7.7

Also found a few device drivers that need updates. Did a full reinstall, still crashes after all the updates / reinstalls

Windows fully up to date

help or suggestions would be appreciated as I'm going nuts

If you create a c:\temp directory, does a c:\temp\crash.mdmp get created? If so, please supply it.

There is a crash.mdmp file in the temp directory from 8.00pm last night, which I have tried to attach. Turns out it is 0 kb so upload failed (shortcut only I guess). I have run next pvr again just now on breakfast TV and it has crashed twice (without creating a new dump file). have attached a useless screen capture instead...

It is crashing on every channel I have tried

I notice that the temp file is rather full, for some reason this is the default recording location (even though I have created a preferred location on a data drive, this appears to be disused and I cannot make it the default). I am moving the recordings out of the temp file to see if this helps.

I have deleted the contents of the temp file. Interesting thing is that the time shift buffer that is recorded to the temp file lasts for exactly 2 minutes. I have managed to extend this by changing channels to 2 minutes and 17 seconds. I also notice that I am in fact missing channel 4 and 4 plus 1

That crash file is zero bytes long, so nothing in it. You might have to try again, to see if you get lucky second time around and get real dump file.

still haven't managed to get a crash file, however now the system has stopped recording any timers (the news each night for example). temporarily solved the crash issue by using Kodi front end. EPG constantly shows the "new" in the bottom corner of each listing, not updating either it appears.
