Mouse NOT Controlling Playback

Everything was previously working fine. I was trying out some different decoders to get Dolby Digital to work. I got Dolby Digital working, but now my mouse no longer controls things like the pause/play functions during live tv or playing recorded tv programs. Right clicking brings up the normal context menu and those items work from there, including pause/play/stop.
If I move the mouse cursor over an on-screen button like the playback controls stop/play-pause, etc. the item turns from white to gray, so it knows where the mouse is, but the corresponding action does not happen when I mouse click. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling nextpvr (but left the old configuration files), but the problem persists. Anybody know what is causing this and how to fix it?

Current Decoder Settings:

Video Renderer = VMR9
Audio REnderer = DirectSound: Denon-AVRHD-4 (NVIDIA Hig
Music Renderer = Default DirectSound Device

Use legacy NPVR TS Reader and Microsoft Demultiplexer is not checked.

Video Decoders :

MPEG2 Video = MainConcept (HCW) MPEG-2 Video Decoder
H.264 Video = LAV Video Decoder
HEVC Video = LAV Video Decoder

Audio Decoders:

MPEG1 Audio = Hauppauge MPEG Layer- 1/2
AC3 Audio = Microsoft DTV-DVD
E-AC3 Audio = LAV
AAC = LAV
HE-AAC = LAV

Only use mapped audio decoder during .ts playback is checked

Tuner = WinTV Quad
Video card = GTX 1050 Ti

If you briefly switch to EVR renderer, does it start working?

Yes!

I made a bunch of changes to get Dolby digital to work and must have changed the video renderer too. I thought I had tried every renderer to fix the mouse problem, but I guess I didn't.

Thanks again.

Do you find any particular renderer works better or has a higher picture quality than the others?

Pretty much stick to EVR unless you have some unexpected error with EVR crashing.
