Have been using NPVR and HDHR4-2US for over a year now, but is not my primary means of watching TV.
Computer is Windows 10 Home operating system, NPVR has been working just fine and always detected both tuners in HDHR.
Fired up NPVR earlier this week and get message "no channels setup". Checked devices and only device shown is IPTV ?? Also get message of new version of NPVR available, so I upgraded from 4.04 to 4.05. Same problem, no devices detected. Have uninstalled and reinstalled NPVR numerous times, deleting ALL files and starting over. Same results.

HDHR app works just fine in Windows 10. Both tuners, all channels. Have checked firewall, all programs allowed to pass thru. Looking at log file (attached), it appears to see my 2 HDHR tuners but will not load them??

Recommendations to go into HDHR configuration and check settings is no longer an option for me with the most recent Windows 10 HDHR software. Early HDHR software did have a configuration page but most recent software from Silicon Dust appears to have did away with that.

Windows 10 recently did a "build update" on my machine to 1709. Read where others have had some issues with NPVR after that update, but not really saw where any solutions were found.

All help appreciated.

Maybe reinstall the HDHR software and not just the app from download web site.

The logs show no drivers present for an HDHR. As Martin says, it looks like you need to install the SiliconDust "HDHomeRun Software For Windows" from https://www.silicondust.com/support/downloads/

I have uninstalled all HDHR software, original "Windows" software as well as the Windows 10 App.
Now I have downloaded the most recent "Windows" software from the SiliconeDust website using your link above. When I try and install this, it starts to install but then gives me a pop-up box telling me "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable". "Click OK to try again or enter alternate patch to a folder containing the installation package "hdHomerun_windows.x64.msi""

Since I cannot locate the file they are looking for, I click cancel. Then the installation stops and I get error message stating "The older versioin of HDHR cannot be removed. Please contact your technical support group"

When I install the HDHR App for Windows 10, it installs and HDHR app works just fine. Not really sure where to get the needed drivers for NPVR.

Sorry, I don't know. They might have some problem with that download. You'd have to ask SiliconDust.

The HDHR App doesn't use the BDA drivers, so works without them. NextPVR needs the driver to be installed.

It is in that http://download.silicondust.com/hdhomeru...indows.exe. If that refuses to install, you'd need to ask SiliconDust why

goto http://my.hdhomerun.com/

from there it should detect your hdhomerun device(s) and give you options to download software for your specific OS.

I don't recommend betas because they can't be downgraded. I updated to the September release this morning since I noticed I was older but I had to do a manual update the my... site kept failing on permissions.

I am with you on betas, in general, but I am using the latest beta successfully. I have not used the "my..." site myself, but that is what Silicondust is recommending in their forums.
