Frame advance & 2x/4x/8x play

It would be nice to be able to frame advance to pick apart those special effects.

Also, it would be nice to have fast scan forward. You get a bit of sound, but no picture.

Not a big deal, but it would be nice!

Agreed, frame advance would be a nice addition, and possible 1/2 speed, 1/4 speed, 1/8 speed etc. much like most DVD players.

Sorry, its unlikely I'll ever implement this request. Some of the third party directshow components I rely on make this difficult. I can pretty much only play at normal speed and double speed.
