There is also some xml in the channel object. We haven't seen any issues with that xml in the past, but I asked for the npvr.db3 file so I can check that too.
Good morning,
As requested, I have tried to attach the NPVR.db3 file but when I press upload it gives me an error message of "invalid file". Please let me know there is a way around this?.
One thought I have had, would it be anything to do with my Firewall. I am using Bullguard Internet Protection and from what I can gather, it adds an extension on to the Windows 10 Firewall (but there again, I am probably wrong)!
Thanks again.

Hello Graham,
If I understand you correctly you are asking how many channels are trying to get EPG data from a .xml file. The only channel which I am aware of is the video card WINFAST DTV1000T - hopefully this is what you are asking? I should also point out that I am receiving perfect reception on each and every channel - the only fly in the oitment is the NPVR EPG!
If you are asking me where does the .xml file come from? I have no idea!
Regards, Scants
Hello again,
I have a confession to make! I overlooked the fact that I installed adobe flash player recently but is that enough to cause this problem?

scants,
Adobe shouldn't be a problem.
When you setup NPVR and scanned for channels, what did you set the EPG sources to be?
In the UK, 7 days of EPG data is broadcast by Freeview OTA (Over the Air). If your channels EPG source is set to DVB EPG, you should get a populated EPG. This is a per channel setting.
Some users prefer to use an external EPG provider such as Schedules Direct. This or other programmes can be used to create an XML format file of EPG data that can be read by NPVR. This assumes you have set the EPG source for that channel to XMLTV.
Obviously if NPVR has been set to read an XML file instead of getting EPG data OTA and the file is missing/corrupt, there'll be problems.
This is what you should see for OTA EPG

For future reference ... it's easier for all if you start a new post for a new problem. I use Webgrabplus and the times that I am grabbing are correct. Click the Empty EPG button and then Update EPG again.
