I have tried everything I can to get this setup but I can't get any Live TV picture nor will my recordings show any picture or sound.

I have a basic co-axial ariel cable going into a receiver at the back of my PC, and have downloaded the EPG XML file from AlanBirtles.com. My source setup is as follows:

Recording Source: Direct Recording Plugin
- Haupppage 250 with fm radio
- UK
- Capture Device #1
- Internal tuner, Tuning: Antenna

EPG Source: XMLTV Plugin

I have all the channels setup in the Channels Window.

Please can you give me any pointers on what else I need to do to get a signal? I'm really struggling!!

Cheers
Phil

Have you edited the "Source Channel" fields to reflect actual tuning channel information rather than the channel 'ID' information that the XMLTV file contains?

For example, according to my regions version of the XMLTV file, the channel IDs are...

BBC1 94
BBC2 107
ITV1 26
C4 132
Five 134

The actual 'tuning' channels that need to be entered in the source channels field for my area are...

BBC1 26
BBC2 33
ITV1 23
C4 30
Five 37

Apologies if you have already done this (it's all I can think of). If you haven't done it then the Tuning Assistant app. will help.

Cheers,
Brian
