DVB-S in UK. What channels available?

What channels are available in the UK via "Free-to-air" digital satellite transmission? Do you effectively get the same as with DVB-T/Freeview or are there any extras? Just curious really.

Not the same as freeview. You get all the BBC's. Not the ITV's. You could if you had a CAM. But... it will do you no good as the cards cannot be used in a PC CAM. Sh** realy

I found a link from the BBC web-site to the 'FreeSat From Sky' site. It seems nearly half of the 'over 200' channels are radio and a large number are shopping/auction/life-style -urrrk!

As I said in my post I was just curious - I've always steered away from sat. and cable with the belief that 'more choice' really means 'more choice of crap'. Oh well!
