After a long with a successful configuration using Hauppauge 2650 in win 7, I am transitioning to win 10.

Recordings files are zero bytes.  Checking NRecord.log I find the command setting the "tuner target" is using my Ethernet IP and not the IP for the 2650 adapter

Executing: C:\Program Files\Silicondust\HDHomeRun\hdhomerun_config.exe 2011EE3D key 99027 set /tuner0/target rtp://192.168.127.101:36312

WinTv 8 plays channels and its log shows the same IP as the logs on my old computer (Hauppauge 2650 adapter IP)

Does anyone know how to change the "target" IP address?  Or even where it is set/stored?

It tries to detect your machine's ip address by asking Windows for the ip address of your computers name. This usually will nearly always you the correct address, even when your machine has multiple addresses.

If you're using NextPVR v5, you could set a system environment variable called "HOST_IP" with the address you'd prefer it to use.

The database at C:\Users\Public\NPVR\npvr.db3 can be edited with something like DB Browser for SQLIte ... The values that you seek might be in the HDHR_RECORDER table.  Backup npvr.db3 first.

Sub,

Just the info I needed. Changed the priority of Hauppauge 2650 IP address in win 10 (now the default). NPVR now selects the Hauppauge 2650 adapter IP as the target and test recording work.
