No sound using WinPVR USB 2

Hi there

I have tried using GB-PVR. Great program, very fast channel switching!!! But I do not have any sound with my card :-( I see no option for sound...

The only time I have sound is it I am timeshifting, seems sound is recorded with delayed playing, but I do not hear it in live preview. Why? Does this card not support LIVE preview? Picture is briliant...

Try playing with the sound options. Don't just settle for the default. I have the exact same card and it works flawlessly.

I did, nothing seems to work. But the sound options are for playback (showshifting), with showshifting sound works...

I tried on other computer and it works same settings. It must be something with the computer but what? Original Hauppauge WinTV works with sound, also Chris TV. But I like GV-PVR

My computer is Asus Digimatrix, it has a SIS chipset with SoundMax drivers for sound.

I have checked the sound card is ADI SoundMax 1980.

And I have no sound in live preview. I have to decide either to keep WinTV PVR USB 2 or return it. If athors can help me, plese. I can send a log if needed. But there are so many logs I don't know which one :-(

Send all you logs to support@devnz.com and I'll see if I can spot anything obvious.

I know this sounds trivial, but make sure none of the inputs and/or outputs are muted in the Windows Sounds menu. I've overlooked that detail several times and felt really stupid after figuring it out...

im having the same problem. :-\ the sound works when i open teh wintv2000 program that came with the thing, and it echos, so its working for both windows, but the second i close that, the sound stops working for gbpvr
