Ok, i've tried about every setting i could 1st to see if it's a settings issue. Nothing fixed this. I've also uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, and tried default skin, and unchecked all but tv for troubleshooting.. Didn't work either, so i'm trying here hoping someone has some help for me.

What is happening is after i record a program (via manual, or a program guide recording,or any videos in my videos directory), when i try to play it back, i get an error. 'The instruction at '0x1c408726' referenced memory at '0x00000000'. The memory could not be 'read' error message. Hit 'Ok' or 'CANCEL' to debug.

What could possibly be causing this to happen? Or things i could try? Thank you for any help. I am really loving this program. Very nice!!!

Try explicitly setting you video decoder setting to something other than 'system default'. This can sometimes cause a 'ActiveMovie' window to appear depending on which MPEG2 decoders are installer on your machine.

That's what i was trying to say. I've tried 'InterVideo Video Decoder', 'InterVideo NonCSS Video Decoder for Hauppauge', 'NVIDIA Video Decoder', & 'Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder' and get this same error message, no matter which one i'm set on. I'm sorry for not mentioning that before. I forgot. I know that's some needed information.

Edit: Correction. Neither of the 2 InterVideo's codec choices work. The NVIDIA and Cyberlink's seems to be working without giving the error message. They seem to work fine though when used with Meedio, and that other software that i never use (just to test), so that's confusing me why it's having this kind of impact with GB-PVR. One thing i noticed which is wierd (didn't do this 4-5 days ago.) that might be worth mentioning, is when i start the software, it takes like 12-15 seconds before the GB-PVR screen is displayed. Before it showed the screen like 2 seconds after i double-clicked on the icon to run. Maybe something is glitched.

Second weird thing is my channel 5 is actually also channel 7. Meaning i tried to record Simsons tonight on WAGA 5(FOX) and came home to find out it was 'Dumb and Dumber' on TBS (channel 7). So i went to live tv and noticed that the Guide is properly showing the correct information for channel 5, but the video your watching is whats on channel 7. So when i move up 2 channels to channel 7, i also see the same picture that channel 5 is showing me, which doesn't match and is actually channel 7's image. So it's like this-
Channel 5 Images - What channel 7 is on my TV.
Channel 7 Images - What channel 7 is on my TV.

So both channel 5 and channel 7 are showing channel 7 stuff, but the EPG is still showing correct info for channel 5, and for channel 7, separately.

Regarding your problem with channel 5/7. Have you taken a look at the "channel numbers" tab in the config app? Maybe something has gone weird there (that's where you can set "presets", saying that preset 5 should show channel 7)

That's all set right. But this is interesting. I loaded up Meedio and noticed that channel 5 is also showing channel 7 as well. I looked at the XMLTV file and the numbers are correct in there. So i installed (eck!!) WinTV, and the channels are correct there for some reason. So i guess it's not GB-PVR's fault at least, but i'd still like to find out why/or how the channel is correct in file, but the program is changing to a wrong station. (ch.5=7, ch.7=7) Baffling me. Important also since i like recording Simpsons on Fox.
