uidroid stops

Usually, I don't have subtitles enabled in uidroid Server settings but today I thought I would try it. I kept getting "ERROR_CODE_FAILED_RUNTIME_CHECK" toast messages pop up then the stream would stop. After a while I tried turning off subtitles in uidroid settings then I didn't get any more errors.

I guess I will just leave subtitles off because currently I can't get subtitles working on any channel I can receive. I just get the "No matching subtitle found" toast message.

EDIT: I have some channels that subtitles are working.

It seems to be crashing in ExoPlayer cea708 decoding so basically outside uidroid's control. I know that ExoPlayer can't decode the TabloTV and your clear QAM sample did have crashing issues for me too. You'd need to open this as an issue on ExoPlayer's github.

Note your Shield is generating a lot of errors on key presses you might also want to go to the nvidia forum to see what can be done.

I am getting the same error message sometimes when the video doesn't start, but I have never turned on subtitles while using uidroid.  You say you turned off subtitles in uidroid settings, is that an overall setting? I can only turn subtitles on or off while I have video playing and I only get the message when the video won't play.

Since you aren't using subtitles this likely would be a different problem, and I'd need to get a sample recording with a link on cloud storage like OneDrive, Google Drive etc. You can use sub's Cut Chunk utility https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/CutChunk to make a 100MB sample from an existing recording that is failing.
