On latest version as of writing.

Recording works perfectly fine, but live TV is completely broken. Web front end gives "Streaming failed (transcoder exited)" and the NLite client shows this
[Image: qknmXN3.png]

No, nothing is recording and the status of the tuners shows they aren't being used. When sitting idled (primed or not primed) both VLC, the web app, the web UI and NLite refuse to stream any content. I noticed this happened after renaming channels and haven't simply just re-scanned the tuner to try resolving it that way, mainly because I don't want to do the work of renaming all the channels all over again. What doesn't make sense is how recording is perfectly fine but live TV just flatout fails.

Tuner is HDHR Prime.

Without the logs, I consider that everything works fine.

Priming an HDHR is not recommended, it constantly stream data over your network.

FYI, this is only true if they're using the BDA drivers. An HDHR Prime doesn't use these. Also, with regular HDHR, most people these days also use the 'HDHR' device type instead of the 'ATSC' or 'QAM' device types.

Sorry, forgot to post logs. The initial slightly passive agressive response isn't helpful, just saying : ) I also said I tried both primed and unprimed. don't assume this is just some haha dumb user stupid idiot issue. It's not instantly obvious why this is happening.

Just want to see if this is something that's an NPVR issue / known issue / new bug or a HDHR issue. Any help is appreciated, just frustrated by this whole issue.

I probably asked "nicely" for logs 1000's of times, often several time to the same person, so I have stopped asking, the choice is not to respond. You probably won't forget.

Problem 1

LiveTV directory does not exist: C:\Users\Public\Recorded TV\NPVRBuffer

so you can't watch Live TV

Problem 2

Several of your channels are not associated to a tuner, most likely scan merge issues. Clean up one tuner with a full scan, and then empty (open the tuner and hold control to see the trash can) and copy when prompted.

Problem 3

2022-10-05 05:02:15.688 [DEBUG][77] LoadListingsMatchingTitle(channel=null,title=The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation)
2022-10-05 05:02:15.689 [ERROR][77] Unexpected error in LoadListingsMatchingTitle: Microsoft.Data.Sqlite.SqliteException (0x80004005): SQLite Error 1: 'no such column: name'.

you might need to delete that recording

True but I would recommend Windows  ATSC/clear QAM users  in the US use BDA mode with the variety of sub channels they have when they watch more than the major networks.
