HDHomeRun Quatro unavailable

Hi,
Just went to check the week's recordings and all are conflicted as the HDHR is unavailable.  I ran the HDHR software and it came up with a firmware upgrade which I applied and I could now watch TV successfully.  But I have no idea how to get NPVR to now see the device.  I have rebooted the PC, hit rescan for devices and nothing seems to work.
Any ideas gratefully received.

I have just been trawling and found a similar post that suggested running FilterCheck which I have done and log is attached.

I am pretty sure you need to follow the steps SD posted to another user. I'd try the first step to see if it makes a difference and then the repair.

I don't think we've touched anything BDA related in years. I just tested NextPVR with the latest beta HDHomeRun software for Windows and it was able to scan channels on my HDHomeRun using the ATSC source, so it's definitely still working. If you set the tuners to Disabled in HDHomeRun Setup it will unregister the instances for the tuners, and then you can re-enable them and Apply again to re-register. You can also click Repair on the Advanced tab, which will re-register the Microsoft stuff.

Thanks Martin, I tried all that and I now have the original 4 HDHR entries (unavailable) plus 8 new ones, 4 x DVB-T and 4 DVB-C.  Whcih should I be using?

I would delete the new devices from the device list holding ctrl for the option and restart the server and hope the unavailable devices are enabled.

Apologies, been off-grid for 24 hours.

Thanks Martin, as soon as I deleted the last DVB entry, the unavailable indicator disappeared. I had various errors when I tried to dowload logs and update the EPG but the trusted "turn it off and on again" worked and after I restarted the PC everything seems to be back to normal.

Let's hope this evening's recordings all happen!
