Looks like you're telling it to record/buffer to T:\ but there is no drive with that name:

If this is a mapped drive, be aware that the NextPVR Recording Service is running as a different user account to your desktop, and doesn't see any drive mappings you've made under your desktop session.

Are you suggesting that everyone who has a playback problem for one of countless reasons should post in this thread?  It would maker support a disaster.  I never doubted that you would had a problem, and I think sub did give you the right pointer.  Nothing to do with the HDHR

If you an do a recording, do you end up with a file? If you get a file, is it playable in anything? If not, supply a sample (via onedrive/googledrive/etc link)  and I'll take a look.

I can do recordings and they are created and play back just fine. 

So, over the weekend I broke down the HDHR tuners from the network and was able to isolate the behavior to just one of the HDHR boxes. My confusion earlier (apologies to Martin and Sub) was both HDHR tuners round robin to provide services. I have ahd these things for many years without any issues. Basically sometimes it might work and other times it would not. This might be a case of too much technology and too few brain cells  Big Grin .

It appears that one of my M-cards from Spectrum may be failing. I then starting working with a Spectrum tech over the phone. She tried numerous things but was not able to get the correct fields in their database filled out (such things as serial numbers, device id's, host names, etc). The down side is not many of the phone techs have any idea what a cable card is. I have a local Spectrum tech coming out on Thursday to basically remove both of my resolvers and tuners from their databases and reenter the correct data.

As I mentioned before NextPVR has always worked great and I was not 100% convinced it was an issue in that software. But I reached out to the forum to see if anyone else had seen similar issues.

I'll provide an update after Thursday.

A good test here might be

"C:\Program Files\NextPVR\Other\ffplay" http://192.168.1.122:5004/tuner2/v780

To see if one tuner is failing. If that is the case you can also use the update here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid577728 and NextPVR will select another tuner in that case.

Thanks Martin, that was the process I also used to dig out the failing M-card. 

The Spectrum tech showed up today. I explained the situation to him. He first verified all signal levels were within specs, they were. He was able to get a Spectrum help desk individual to dig deep and find someone who had worked with turner boxes before (HDHomeRun, TIVO, etc). We walked thru the setting for one of the tuners and its card. There was an error in their config ( I had suspected so). Once corrected that card and tuner came alive. 

Attacking the 2nd card setup still no luck, and this was the card they gave to me replacing mine that had died. The local tech went back to our local Spectrum store and obtained another card. Got back on the phone with the Help Desk and they were get the correct data updated and sent a re-boot signal. That card came to life.

Everything is good.
