Hello,
I am a newbie to all of this and I need a little help please. I Just installed GB-PVR, and updated the EPG. When I updated the EPG it saved all the information, but I dont have any guide information on any channels. I see all my channels in the channels section, and I also can view live TV. I just can't get any info in my guide. I logged into Zap2it and it works fine. Could someone help me figure out why I do have any guide info. Thanks!

Silly question, but is the date and time set right on your computer? An obvious question, yes, but have to check everything, even the simple ones.

Hello,

I just installed GB-PVR and I have the same problem. My time/date is fine fully updated. I do get a few listings that show up (very few) and a few others that are not "visible" but if I move through the listings a description will pop up.

I also do not see all the channels listed (ex. it skips from ch2 to ch14 nothing in between). If I go to my Zap2it account I do see the channels listed there. I can add them but they still do not show up.

Also the update service takes forever and I'm on a very fast PC and connection.

No problem and don't feel dumb. The same problem happened to me a few days ago and it took me a while to figure it out. Ever since I added a third hard drive to my system, my system clock would go out of sync whenever a CPU intensive task was performed (ex. Comskip, Folding@Home, etc) so I looked for third-party syncing programs. One program I tried said it was a month behind and set the date as June instead of May. Was strange. Anyways, because GB-PVR thought it was June instead of May, it had no listings (Because none existed).

Anyways, still looking for a good clock sync program that lets me specify automatic daily updates at a time of my choosing (my computer makes judicial use of Hibernate/wake-up so it would have to be able to either wake up my computer or be able to specify what time to update so I could pick a time after the EPG updates).

From your sig, you have XP. XP can automatically set time based on NIST.

Double click on your time and see if you have this tab.
3x MVPs (not used anymore)
XBMC
Hauppauge 150 via SVideo
Comcast Digital Cable
Motorola HD Cable box channel changed via Firewire
Vista Home Premium with RDP hack
AMD Athalon 64 5000+
340gig sata, plus 80SATA+3x160IDE Drives in XP machine for storage.

And like I said, I need something that can do it daily since everytime I run comskip, the time goes out of whack; once a week just isn't going to cut it Wink

Help! Now that I got my guide updated I have no tv.. None of the channels work. I can go into the tuning section and I can see each channel when it tunes, but how do I save them so that I can view them in live TV mode? Sad
