UIdroid sound issues

Ok, Been testing uidroid for a bit.  Love it.  I loaded it on one of my android tv boxes and it seems to not play sound for all some channels.  When it does not play sound it seems to make the vol buttons not work as well.  Is there something I am missing here I don't know about?  How would I resolve it?

Glad you like it. sub, has put a lot work into UI client support over the last few releases that I really appreciate and it is really quite a nice client. That reminds me I have a small update to release this week.

Audio output depends on the source, some Android boxes don't support all the audio types, or they report support that doesn't work. Typically from broadcast those will be AC3, AAC and MPEG2 audio plus now AC-4 for ATSC 3.

You might also have pass through enabled in Android which your receiver doesn't support

In general going into settings (long DPAD Centre) and enabling ffmpeg for audio will fix audio issue.

If there is no audio I wouldn't expect volume to work!
