Ok thanks, the m3u8 downloader seemed rather bursty which would cause potential playback issues in Kodi. He forgot the Kodi debug log

If it happened when he changed his video card, I'd be suspicious of when the audio source changed at the same time (like he's now using HDMI audio), since changes in audio renderer can cause issues with jerky audio.

To test that theory, he could try pausing for 10 seconds or so, then resuming playback to see if the audio starts playing smoothly.

A recording is the best test for buffering. Kodi logs will be the best test. Moving to timeshift mode might improve buffering too.

NextPVR is doing weird things too, transcoding audio only and not direct play to Kodi.

Hey guys, I updated all the drivers on my Windows HTPC as well as tweaking a few settings in the PVR client settings in Kodi (set refresh rate to 59.xxHz for instance)
Not sure which step fixed it, but for now it is playing back smoothly again.
