Is it normal for the tray app to be using 25 MB of memory? I notice that its handle count increases by 4 every two seconds, up to about 800 handles, then drops back down to 200-something, repeating the process. The recording service use increases by 8 KB every six seconds. I'm just wondering, because this is about 50 MB of -real- RAM being used, not VM. Nothing is being recorded (two are pending for later today). The recording service just hit 22 MB, and climbing. This is from booting less than 30 minutes ago. I'll have to check what it's like after a few more hours, let alone a few days.

There is a bug in the tray app in the current release which loads all plugins etc into the tray process, using quite a bit of unnecessary memory. This has been resolved for the next release.

Yes, this is normal. Garbage collection will kick in some time later and release memory no longer being used.

I'd expect the recording service to use up to about 50 megs.
