All of a sudden when I go into config and then click ok - Im getting the following error message:
An unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continute. If you click Quit, the application will be shut down immediateley.

Cannot start service GB-PVR Recording Service on computer.
Heres what the details show:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

Anyone have any suggestions?? This first happened when I was trying to change a skin.

Looks like a broken installation. Uninstall, delete the "c:\program files\devnz" directory, then reinstall.

Have you got .NET installed?
What skin were you trying to use?
You can never have enough tuners!

The same happened to me when I was attempting to change the PVR350 settings in config.xml ... after saving changes, I get an identical error message when starting GB-PVR or Config. :confused:

Sounds like you stuffed the config.xml up. You've got to be careful when editing it manually. If you edit it with wordpad you can get this type of problem, since it defaults to want to save as RTF, which inserts all sorts of extra garbage in the file.

Yes, NET is installed - I tried using "Digital Plus - P" then tried Blah Blue.

Afraid to try that again. Anyways I un-installed and re-installed and its fixed now but for anyone that is doing this in the future MAKE SURE you reboot after you un-install and delete the directory BEFORE you re-install or it won't fix it.

Thanks for all your help guys Smile

I did that - no help Sad

I will un-install and re-install 1 more time and not add the music plugin and see what happens.

Should I un-install my WinTv 2000?? Are they conflicting??
