So far Ive got to a stage now where im trying to scan for channels
I know that the card and the equipment works because if I use the twinhan software all is good and works (but the software is pants hence wanting to use this software)

Ive got to the stage now where I select eurobird and astra satellites,
click start scan and it finds nothing.

I do have a few channels in the program guide that i want to map so am I missing anything here?

Email your logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.

Did you set you LNB settings correctly? The defaults are correct for me in New Zealand, but I think most countries use different settings.

Ive been playing with media portal recently and one thing ive noticed is that it can take several scans to pick up all the channels that are about. Ive tried doing this with GBPVR but it doesnt seem to want to lock onto anything.

I know the scannings going ok so im wondering what im missing. Anyone out there got this DVB-s card/

The logs that you sent contained the following error:

00:32:50.656 ERROR failed to start BDA Graph
00:32:50.671 VERBOSE ERROR_BUSY & DIERR_ACQUIRED

This indicates for this specific attempt to scan, the device was already in use elsewhere in the system.

I'm actually using the same Twinhan DVB-S card. This is what I've used for doing all my development.

The only thing i think that could possibly be would be the twinhan program that runs at startup that does recordings.

Bit of an update. Downloaded the new version as you said and I love the quality and strength settings. It's quoting about 75/60 as an average but its still not finding any channels.

If I try other apps they do appear to find them. Any ideas as although the other apps can find them, some of them are verryyyyy poor IMO.

Is it worth trying the spectrum drivers for this card?

No sorry, I dont. You might have to stick with one of these other apps.

Those drivers are DVB-T only.
