Hello all.

Well I got LiveTV working now on both PVR150s. However when I schedule a record or hit record the status shows recording for the one card, the folder is created but no MPG file. If watching LiveTV and I hit record I get the message "switching to time shift" then it drops back to the Guide... Nothing else.

I can't pause LiveTV either.

Don't know if it could be my Decoders or not. I would not think so as I've tried recording w/o watching and I've tried recording one show while trying to watch LiveTV.

Thanks,

John

Update. I've made about all the changes I could find, compared and set the 92.11 the same as my other (old) box running 91.11. Still nothing. I can watch LiveTV, can't pause it, can't record from LiveTV or setup a recording via the Guide (it says it is being recorded but is not) with success.

Checking the logs (not sure which ones so I've looked at all of them), no errors. Checked the MDB file, says the file is recorded and shows the filename. The only thing that happens, the folder gets created but no file.

I have the same problem. Pausing LiveTV works fine on Windows Media Center 2005. My settings in GBPVR seem to be okay so I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting.

I'm in pretty much the same boat ... 2 pvr150's in an XP system that used to run GBPVR just fine - now it's empty folders & no live TV unless "preview" is enabled. I tried uninstalls / reinstalls and the latest release with no improvement. Finally ended up buying a Sage license so I could keep up with my recording schedules. I still keep lurking in case someone comes up with a cause & fix because I liked GBPVR when it was working for me.

That's so odd.. My old (original) system works fine with 1 PVR150 in a Shuttle and .91.11 running. I know my PVR cards are working, I can watch TV with GBPVR on one and the other via WinTV at the same time... It seems like we have more than an single anomaly..

Yep, same situation here too, with a PVR500MCE (effectively 2x150s). Able to watch live tv, can't record or timeshift.

All works fine in mediaportal.

If someone is able to briefly provide me remote access to one of these problem machines, using VNC or Windows Remote Desktop, then I'll take a look at the problem.

Users with more than one PVR150 (or possible a PVR500), could try the attached patch (NativeUtilities.dll). You'll also need to add the following setting to config.xml. I recommend doing this with notepad.exe

Quote:<AutoDetectEncoder>false</AutoDetectEncoder>

I'm not sure if it'll help everyone, but it certainly got Networker going.

I didn't have time to try it before it was removed.
