MVP "Loading Application..."

Bought a MVP today, cute box, but I wish it would get past the splash screen. It is just sitting on "Loading Application..." for about 10 minutes now. Is this normal?

I have PGPVR set to autostart one MVP server and it does have the "don't close this window or you will hose MVP" window on the GBPVR box.

GB-PVR can only start the MVP if you have a DHCP server on your network. Otherwise you need to let the Hauppauge software boot the MVP, and then stop the hauppauge MVP services.

Nevermind. I did not realize I actually needed to install the Hauppaugue MVP software on a computer. It must load some data from the official software.

Anyhow, it is up working with GBPVR. Sub you are my hero.

Sub....just to throw this out....this is the same behavoir I was seeing....not being able to get past the loading application when pulling from the the GBPVR dongle....but had no issue with the real Hauppage.

Has anyone else had problems reloading from the GBPVR dongle? To test I think you just need to unplug the MVP, wait a few seconds and plug it back in.
