When I elect to do season pass recordings the padding and any info such as recording quality is saved. However, when the programming is sent to the "pending" section for scheduling my preferences are being overridden by the default settings. I have reinstalled gbpvr a few times but the problem persists.
Example: I schedule a show for "All recordings" with Hign quality, and 2 post and 3 minutes pre padding.
I can then see that show in pending but the quality setting is now the default of "medium" and the pre and post padding are at 0 minutes.
If I recheck the reocurring listings it shows the correct info.

I've just tried to reproduce this now, without any luck. Can you please check at you end if you can reproduce the problem on a new recording?

What I tried was going in an scheduling a season recording for a "high" quality, and modified pre/post padding to 5 minutes. I then check both the reoccuring recording and the individual recordings in the pending section. All were listed with high/5/5.

I tried again with same results. I went to the guide and select the program I wanted. Then I scheduled it and added pre and post padding. Then I went back to the recordings menu - I check reocurring and the setting are correct. I check pending and the settings are the same as my default setting.

Just to let you know I have seen the same too, but since Medium quality was enough for me, and I never tried to change pre/post, I didn't bother writing here about it.
