Hi all.

Im running a sat tuner card (Nexus/dvb) in hardware mode and looping the output into a PVR-150 as LiveTV for GB-PVR. My video card (fx5600) has a secondary output that Im feeding to my TV, and Im running it in Dualview mode. I want to multitask the comp so that we can use GB in the living room while using the comp for other things. (Ill deal with the audio by putting a USB sound card in once I get over this problem..)

The problem seems to be, that whenever I try to make GB run as full screen in the TV output, the computer monitor also switches to full screen mode but I only get 1/2 a pic (the left half).

When it does this, I can get the GB timeshift OSD menu on the computer, so it seems to be the GB pic on here as opposed to the dvb app (RitzDVB) itself (which I just have minimized to the taskbar).

ON another note: (not to hijack my own thread.. lol), I realize I cant control the dvb card itself (no bda drivers), but it sure would be nice to be able to grab the pic stream directly and output it thru GB. Having to push the stream into a PVR-150 to make it mpeg then using software mode to push it back out of mpeg makes for a cpu hit of course (about 30-40% on a 2.1Ghz amd). It would be nice to run the dvb app as a seperate process, and then have GB pick up the stream somehow, internally ??

Yes it is possible :

Not familiar with how to do this on your particular card though...

I found the problem with the Dualview..

IN Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/{cardname}/Full Screen Video

Turn off the "full screen device".

That, in addition to the startup option of :
D:\gbpvr\GBPVR.exe -noframe -pos:-800,0,800,600
(Somehow, my 2ndary ended up on the left of my primary.. so I use -800 to span back the width of the 2ndary for the start pixel.. typically for a 1024x768 primary and a 800x600 secondary, youd use 1024,0,800,600

Works fine now.

The only thing left, display-wise, is reducing the CPU overhead while playing live or recorded mpegs..
